Recovery Giant provides nationwide vehicle recovery and roadside assistance services across the United Kingdom. These terms apply to all customers using our services.

 

2. Services Provided

Recovery Giant offers, but is not limited to, the following services:

  • Accident Recovery
  • Breakdown Recovery
  • Flatbed Recovery
  • Jump Start Assistance
  • Fuel Drain Service
  • Tyre Repair & Recovery
  • Motorcycle Recovery
  • Car Transport
  • Emergency Roadside Assistance

All services are subject to availability, location, weather conditions, and operational capacity.

 

3. Booking and Service Requests

  • Customers may request services via phone, email, or online booking.
  • Accurate information must be provided regarding vehicle type, location, and nature of the issue.
  • Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges or delays.
  • Recovery Giant reserves the right to refuse service if incorrect information has been provided.

 

4. Response Times

  • Estimated arrival times are provided based on current traffic, distance, and availability.
  • While we aim to arrive within estimated timeframes, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Recovery Giant does not guarantee specific arrival times.

 

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices are quoted based on the information provided at the time of booking.
  • Additional charges may apply for:
    • Incorrect location details
    • Additional mileage
    • Difficult vehicle access
    • After-hours or emergency service
    • Waiting time exceeding agreed limits
    • Special equipment requirements
  • Payment may be required in advance or upon completion of service.
  • Recovery Giant accepts bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other agreed payment methods.
  • Vehicles may not be released until full payment has been received.

 

6. Cancellations

  • Customers must notify Recovery Giant immediately if cancellation is required.
  • Cancellation fees may apply if:
    • A driver has already been dispatched
    • The driver has arrived at the location
    • Late cancellation occurs
  • No refund may be issued once service has commenced.

 

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate vehicle and location details
  • Ensuring safe access to the vehicle
  • Removing personal belongings from the vehicle
  • Informing Recovery Giant of any vehicle modifications
  • Being present at collection and delivery locations where required

Recovery Giant is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.

 

8. Vehicle Condition

  • Recovery Giant will take reasonable care during loading, transport, and unloading.
  • Customers must disclose any existing damage prior to transport.
  • Recovery Giant is not liable for pre-existing damage.
  • Vehicles transported at owner’s risk unless otherwise agreed.

 

9. Liability

  • Recovery Giant shall not be liable for:
    • Delays beyond our control
    • Mechanical or electrical failure during recovery
    • Loss of income or business interruption
    • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Liability is limited to the value of the service provided unless otherwise required by law.

 

10. Dangerous Locations

  • If a vehicle is located in a hazardous or unsafe position, Recovery Giant reserves the right to:
    • Request emergency services assistance
    • Refuse recovery until safe access is available
    • Apply additional safety-related charges

 

11. Abandoned Vehicles

  • If a vehicle is not collected within 7 days of recovery, storage charges may apply.
  • Recovery Giant reserves the right to move or store vehicles at a secure location.

 

12. Storage Charges

  • Storage charges may apply where vehicles are held by Recovery Giant.
  • Customers will be informed of applicable storage fees.

 

13. Insurance

Recovery Giant carries appropriate insurance coverage for vehicle recovery and transport. However:

  • Customers are encouraged to maintain their own vehicle insurance
  • Certain high-value vehicles may require additional insurance coverage

 

14. Force Majeure

Recovery Giant shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Traffic accidents
  • Road closures
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
